2006 Isuzu Ascender S, 5.3 M, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
  2. Remove the right rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear No. 1 (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Rainier) .
  3. Remove the communication interface module. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL)Β  or Communication Interface Module Replacement (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Rainier)Β .
  4. Remove the navigation control processor bracket. Refer to Navigation Control Processor Bracket Replacement (TrailBlazer EXT/Envoy XL)Β  or Navigation Control Processor Bracket Replacement (TrailBlazer/Envoy/Rainier)Β .
  5. Pass the cellular telephone coax cable through the carpet opening.
  6. Remove the seat back, left and right side. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear No. 1 .
  7. Remove the front door sill plates. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  8. Remove the rear door sill plates. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  9. Remove the center pillar trim panels. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
  10. Remove the rear quarter upper trim panels. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (TrailBlazer, Envoy) .
  11. Remove the lower rear quarter trim panels. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Left or to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Right .
  12. Remove the left coat hook. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement .
  13. Remove the tool kit carrier.
  14. Remove the child restraint tether anchors. Refer to Child Restraint Tether Anchor Replacement - Rear No. 1 .
  15. Lift and fold the carpet over the bucket seats.

  17. Remove the coax cable fasteners from the floor panel.

  19. Remove the coax cable fasteners from the left third pillar.

  21. Disconnect the coax cable (1) from the window mounted coupling.
