2006 Isuzu Ascender S, 5.3 M, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

  3. Disconnect the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) connector (2) from the wiring harness (3).

  5. Remove the catalytic converter pipe flange to exhaust system pipe flange nuts.
  6. Separate the pipes and discard the gasket.
  7. IMPORTANT: Catalytic converter flex coupler must NEVER be deflected more than 6 degrees or failure of flex coupler could result.
