Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove side door trim panel upper extension. Refer to Upper Extension Trim Panel Replacement (Front Side Door) or Upper Extension Trim Panel Replacement (Rear Side Door) .
  2. Remove side door handle trim bezel. Refer to Door Handle Bezel Replacement (Rear Side Door) or Door Handle Bezel Replacement (Front Side Door) .
  3. Remove side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement and Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
1 Side Door Inside Handle Screw (Qty: 2)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
2 Side Door Inside Handle Bolt

Tighten:  2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
3 Side Door Inside Handle Assembly
Tip:  Disconnect electrical connector.
4 Side Door Locking Rod Assembly (Qty: 2)
Tip:  Use a flat-bladed tool to disengage rods from retaining clips.
