Mode Switch

- Mode switch is located on side of transmission. See Figure . Remove necessary covers for access to mode switch electrical connector. Disconnect mode switch electrical connector and note terminal identification. See Fig 1 .
- Using a DVOM, check for continuity between specified terminals in relation to shift lever position. See MODE SWITCH CONTINUITYΒ table. If continuity is not as specified, mode switch may require adjustment. See MODE SWITCHΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Replace mode switch if specified continuity cannot be obtained by adjusting.
