2ND Clutch: Disassembly

- Remove retaining ring, ring gear, retaining ring and spacer from 2nd clutch drum. See Figure .
- Remove clutch plates, clutch discs and waved plate from 2nd clutch drum. Note direction of clutch plates, clutch discs and waved plate installation for reassembly reference.
- To remove clutch piston from 2nd clutch drum, using spring compressor, compress return springs and return spring seat. Remove retaining ring from center of 2nd clutch drum.
- Release spring compressor. DO NOTΒ allow return spring seat to bind in groove for retaining ring. Remove spring compressor, return spring seat and return springs.
- Remove clutch piston from 2nd clutch drum. Remove seal rings from clutch piston.
