Circuit Test

1996 Isuzu Oasis SSECTION Circuit Test

If a no-start condition exists, ensure battery is fully charged. Touch test light to starter solenoid terminal No. 50 (Black/White wire). Put gear selector in Park (A/T) or Neutral (M/T). On M/T, fully depress clutch pedal. On all models, turn ignition switch to START position. If test light does not glow, check ignition switch, restart relay, clutch switch/inhibit switch and wiring circuit. If test light glows, check battery cable connections. If connections are okay, starter or solenoid is defective.
