- CHECK ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSORΒ
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect ECT sensor harness connector.
- Remove ECT sensor. Refer to Exploded View .
- Check resistance between ECT sensor terminals by heating with hot water as shown in the figure.
