The driver power seat does not move in any direction at times, or not at all.
NOTE:
This incident, should it occur, applies to Automatic Drive Positioner (ADP) equipped vehicles only.
ACTIONS
Verify the condition of the lumbar switch harness.
- If the harness is found damaged:
- Repair the lumbar switch harness.
- Do not replace the lumbar switch unless the switch harness is not repairable.
- Install the Passive Guide Rail Set (protector) and Felt Tape listed in the PARTS INFORMATION section of this bulletin on Page 2.
- For repair procedure, refer to the SERVICE PROCEDURE section of this bulletin starting on Page 2.
- If the harness is not found damaged
, this bulletin does not apply.
- Refer to the appropriate Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for further diagnosis.

Inspect the Lumbar Switch Harness

This incident, should it occur, applies to Automatic Drive Positioner (ADP) equipped vehicles only.
- Write down all radio station presets.RADIO STATION PRESETS CHART
Presets 1 2 3 4 5 6 A B C - Unfasten the seat cushion outer finisher (finisher).
- Refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) as needed.
- Protect all surrounding surfaces with suitable covering.NOTE: For this procedure, the seat does not need to be removed from the vehicle. Unfastening the seat (allowing it to be moved manually) will be sufficient.
