Personal Lamp Control Does Not Operate
- CHECK REAR DOOR SWITCH
Select "BCM" on CONSULT-II. With "INT LAMP" data monitor to make sure switch "DOOR SW-RR" and "DOOR SW-RL" turn ONOFF linked with rear door (RH and LH) operation.
OK or NG
OK : GO TO 2.
NG : Inspect malfunctioning rear door switch.
- CHECK PERSONAL LAMP CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect personal lamp connector.
- Open rear door.
- Check continuity between personal lamp harness connector and ground.

OK or NG
OK : GO TO 3.
NG : Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK PERSONAL LAMP INPUT
Check voltage between personal lamp harness connector and ground.
VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION(+) (-) Voltage Personal lamp connector Terminal Ground RH R55 2 Battery voltage LH R54 OK or NG
OK : Replace personal lamp. Refer to "PERSONAL LAMP ".
NG : GO TO 4.
- CHECK PERSONAL LAMP CIRCUIT
- Disconnect BCM connector.
- Check continuity between BCM harness connector and personal lamp harness connector.

OK or NG
OK : Replace BCM if personal lamp does not work after setting the connector again. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF BCM ".
NG : Repair harness or connector.
