ECM Circuit Inspection

- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check terminals and connector of ECM for damage, bend and loose connection (control module side and harness side).
OK or NG
OK : GO TO 2.
NG : Repair terminal or connector.
- CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
- Disconnect ECM connector.
- Check resistance between ECM harness connector terminals.TERMINAL RESISTANCE CHART
ECM connector Terminals Resistance (Approx.) M90 94 86 108 - 132 Ω
OK or NG
OK : Replace ECM.
NG : Repair harness between ECM and harness connector M82.
