Disabling System

- Obtain radio code number from customer, and deactivate audio anti-theft function. Turn ignition switch off. Disconnect and shield negative battery cable.
- On Miata, disconnect Orange and Blue clockspring connectors located at base of steering column. See Fig 1. On 929, Disconnect diagnostic module connector, and connect Short Circuit Connector (49-H066-004) to harness connector. See Fig 2.
