Repair Procedures: Removal

2024 Hyundai Palisade Limited, FWDSECTION Removal
  1. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal.
  2. Disconnect the knock sensor connector (A).

  3. Remove the intake manifold.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "INTAKE MANIFOLD ")

  4. Remove the mounting bolt (A), and then remove the sensor from the cylinder block.

    Tightening torque: 

    15.7 - 23.5 N.m (1.6 - 2.4 kgf.m, 11.6 - 17.4 lb-ft)
