CAUTION:
  • For vehicles equipped with Smart Key, refer to the procedures below:

[When installing a used PCM]
  1. Inspection for "PCM Initialization" procedure by using diagnostic equipment.

    Refer to ECM NEUTRALIZATION PROCEDURE (WITH SMART KEY)

  2. If you turn on/off IGN using a smart key or the Start button after completion of "PCM Neutralization", the PCM will automatically learn the smart key information.

[When installing a new PCM without learning experience]
If IGN is turned ON/OFF using the key or start button, the smart key registration process is automatically performed in the PCM.
