- Perform a battery appearance and basic visual inspection (damage and leakage).
- If less than 20 minutes have elapsed after the engine has stopped, place the ignition switch in the "ON" position and operate the electrical devices (headlights, blower motor, rear defogger, etc.) for 60 seconds to remove residual voltage.
- Turn "off" the ignition switch and electrical devices.
- Measure the voltage between the (-) and (+) terminals of the battery.
- If the battery charge is poor, refer to BATTERY
and charge the battery.
