Information
- Body Domain Control Unit (BDC) variant coding makes it possible to operate functions for each vehicle type.
- If the variant coding differs from the vehicle specification, a DTC is displayed.
- If the body domain control unit (BDC) is replaced with a new one, perform the "Variant Coding" procedure using diagnostic tool.
- Connect the diagnostic device to the data link connector, turn on the ignition (IGN ON), and then activate the diagnostic tool.
- Select the 'Car model' and "BDC-BCM".
- Select the 'Variant Coding' and follow the instructions on the screen.
