  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
  3. Perform variant coding in Vehicle S/W Management menu of the GDS. (Fig.4)
  4. Log in GSW website (http://ccc.hyundai-motor.com/) and then click "VIN Search" at the top center side of the screen.
  5. Select ESP and fill in VIN number (or body number) correctly, and check ESC code. (Fig.5)
  6. Fill in the blank with ESC code checked in GSW web site. (Fig.6)
  7. Check whether current variant code corresponds to the options which are applied to the vehicle.
  8. Turn "OFF" the ignition switch and wait for about 10 seconds, and then turn "ON" the ignition switch. Go to "VARIANT CODE RESETΒ " Procedure.
NOTE: When HAC is activated, conduct "longitudinal G sensor Calibration" with GDS. (refer to C128504 )
