- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- IG key "ON", Engine "ON".
- Monitor diagnostic trouble code and present of trouble code.
- Are any DTCs present?
Using a GDS, Check if the same DTC re-sets after clearing DTC.
- Is the same DTC detected again?

- Substitute with a known-good "BSD ECU (RH)" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "BSD ECU (RH)" and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRΒ " procedure.
