Monitor GDS Data
2017 Hyundai Ioniq ElectricSECTION Monitor GDS Data

- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC) and engine "ON".
- Select "Current Data" mode and monitor the "Main function activation status, HLL position, DBL position" parameter on the GDS.
- Check the operation of "HLL position and DBL position" use "Actuation Test".

- Headlamp S/W ON state maintenance
- Headlamps Up, Down, Left, Right actuator operation Status at start-up (headlamps initialization)
- Visually check whether the headlamp driving - LIN communication is normal
- Is parameter displayed within specifications?

- Fault might be intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ECU's connector or was repaired and ECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRΒ " procedure

- Go to "WIRING INSPECTIONΒ " procedure.
