Monitor DTC Status

2017 Hyundai Ioniq ElectricSECTION Monitor DTC Status
  1. Connect GDS to "DATA LINK CONNECTOR(DLC)".
  2. IG key "ON", Engine "OFF".
  3. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" with GDS.
  4. Monitor the diagnostic trouble code and present of the trouble code.
  5. Erase the DTC and operate the vehicle within DTC Enable conditions in General information.

  6. Is the DTC displayed again?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in DATC*'s connector or CGW*'s memory was not cleared after repair.

    → Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.

    → Repair or replace as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NOTE: DATC*  : "A/C CONTROL MODULE"
    CGW*  : "IGPM_GATEWAY"
