Monitor GDS Data
2014 Hyundai Veloster RE:FLEXSECTION Monitor GDS Data
- IG "ON".
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Open communication with PCM(ECM).
- Monitor the "transmission type" parameter on the "Current Data" menu of the GDS.
Specification: Compare the transmission type on current data with the actual one applied in the vehicle (For example, the transmission type should displayed as A/T in case of the A/T vehicle).
- Is parameter displayed within specifications?
YES
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection and/or HECU's connector or was repaired and HECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
