"Transponder is located near the Key knob and communicates while ignition ON translates encrypted PIN data back and forth.

NOTE:
  1. Transponder does not need a battery, only receives energy from the vehicle.
  2. Transponder is all in one with the Key. Therefore, transponder cannot be removed or replaced and is semi-permanent unless damaged by induced shock.
