Signal Circuit Inspection
2014 Hyundai Santa Fe XL PremiumSECTION Signal Circuit Inspection
- Check voltage
- IG "OFF". Disconnect ECTS connector.
- IG "ON".
- Measure voltage between signal terminal of ECTS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Approx. 3.3V
- Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Go to " 2 Check short to ground in harness" as follows.
- Check short to ground in harness
- IG "OFF". Disconnect ECTS connector and PCM connector.
- Measure resistance between signal terminal of ECTS harness connector and chassis ground. (Measurement "A")
- Measure resistance between signal and ground terminals of ECTS harness connector. (Measurement "B")
Specification : Infinite
- Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair short to ground in harness. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
