Component Inspection

- Check fuel pressure regulator (spill valve) resistance
- IG "OFF" and disconnect fuel pressure regulator (spill valve) connector.
- Measure resistance between High and Low control terminals of fuel pressure regulator (spill valve). (Component Side)
Specification : 1.035 ~ 1.265Ω [23°C (73°F)]
- Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Substitute with a known - good IDB and check for proper operation.
If the problem is corrected, replace IDB and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known - good fuel pressure regulator (spill valve) and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace fuel pressure regulator (spill valve) and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Substitute with a known - good IDB and check for proper operation.
