Repair Procedures: Replacement

2014 Hyundai Genesis 3.8SECTION Replacement
  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  3. Disconnect the ECM connector (A) and TCM connector (B).
  4. Remove the TCM & ECM after removing the bolts (C) and nut (D).

    TCM installation bolt/nut:Β 

    9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)

  5. Remove the TCM (B) after removing the bolts (A).
