Repair Procedures: Installation

2014 Hyundai Genesis 3.8SECTION Installation
  1. Installation is reverse of removal.
    CAUTION:
    1. In the case of the vehicle equipped with immobilizer or button engine start system, perform "TEACHING PROCEDURES " procedure together. (Refer to "IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM " or "BUTTON ENGINE START SYSTEM ).
    2. After exchanging TCM, input the EOL (End of line).

      (Refer to "REPAIR PROCEDURESΒ " )

    3. When replacing the TCM, reset the automatic transmissions values by using the GDS.
    4. Perform TCM learning after replacing the TCM.
