Cruise Signal Circuit Inspection
- Signal circuit short check
- IG "OFF" and disconnect (-) cable from the battery.
- Disconnect cruise switch, MFSW connector.
- Measure resistance of signal line between cruise switch and MFSW.
Specification: Below 1 Ω
- Is the measured value normal?
YES
- Substitute with a known - good MFSW and check for proper operation.
If the problem is corrected, replace the component and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Substitute with a known - good cruise switch and check for proper operation.
If the problem is corrected, replace the component and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Repair short in signal line between MFSW and cruise switch and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Substitute with a known - good MFSW and check for proper operation.
