Cruise Signal Circuit Inspection

2014 Hyundai Genesis 3.8SECTION Cruise Signal Circuit Inspection
  • Signal circuit short check 
    1. IG "OFF" and disconnect (-) cable from the battery.
    2. Disconnect cruise switch, MFSW connector.
    3. Measure resistance of signal line between cruise switch and MFSW.

      Specification:  Below 1 Ω

    4. Is the measured value normal?

      YES 

      • Substitute with a known - good MFSW and check for proper operation.

        If the problem is corrected, replace the component and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

      • Substitute with a known - good cruise switch and check for proper operation.

        If the problem is corrected, replace the component and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
