Component Inspection
2014 Hyundai Equus SignatureSECTION Component Inspection
- Ignition "OFF".
- Connect AFLS OFF S/W connector.
- Ignition "ON".
- Measure voltage for AFLS OFF, When switch "ON" and "OFF".
Specification: switch "ON" approx, 0V, switch "OFF": B+
- Is "voltage" display near the specified value?
YES
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ECU's connector or was repaired and ECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known - good AFLS OFF S/W and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace AFLS OFF S/W and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
