Signal Circuit Inspection
2014 Hyundai Equus SignatureSECTION Signal Circuit Inspection
- IG key "ON", Engine "OFF".
- Perform "Oscilloscope" procedure in the "Vehicle S/W Management" with GDS.
- Measure the signal waveform between CAN High terminal of "DRIVER DOOR MODULE" harness connector and chassis ground.
- Measure the signal waveform between CAN LOW terminal of "DRIVER DOOR MODULE" harness connector and chassis ground.
■ Reference data
- Does the measured signal waveform follow the reference data?
YES
- Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Repair as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Check open/poor connection in the B_CAN "HIGH" line.
- Check open/poor connection in the B_CAN "LOW" line.
- Substitute with a known-good DDM("DRIVER DOOR MODULE") and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace DDM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
