Signal Circuit Inspection

2014 Hyundai Equus SignatureSECTION Signal Circuit Inspection
  1. IG key "ON", Engine "OFF".
  2. Perform "Oscilloscope" procedure in the "Vehicle S/W Management"  with GDS.
  3. Measure the signal waveform between CAN High terminal of "DRIVER DOOR MODULE" harness connector and chassis ground.
  4. Measure the signal waveform between CAN LOW terminal of "DRIVER DOOR MODULE" harness connector and chassis ground.

    ■ Reference data

  5. Does the measured signal waveform follow the reference data?

    YES 

    • Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
    • Repair as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO 

    • Check open/poor connection in the B_CAN "HIGH" line.
    • Check open/poor connection in the B_CAN "LOW" line.
    • Substitute with a known-good DDM("DRIVER DOOR MODULE") and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace DDM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
