2014 Hyundai Azera LimitedSECTION Removal And Installation
  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  2. Remove the engine cover.
  3. Disconnect the alternator connector (A) and the cable (B) from the 'B' terminal.

  4. Remove the drive belt.

    (Refer to "DRIVE BELT ")

  5. Remove the alternator (A).

    Tightening torque  : 26.5 - 33.3 N.m (2.7 - 3.4 kgf.m, 19.5 - 24.6 lb-ft)

  6. Installation is reverse order of removal.
    NOTE: Do not disassemble the Lambda 3.3L engine alternator. The alternator inner parts will not be supplied. If a fault occurs, inspect charging system first. If necessary, replace the alternator assembly.
