- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC)
- Engine "ON".
- Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
- Monitor diagnostic trouble code and present of trouble code.
- Does P1831 and P1832 set together?
YESΒ
- After clearing DTC, check front and rear wheel sensor's data based on a vehicle status.
- Check tire installation and its slip.
NOΒ
- Substitute with a known-good "4WD ECU" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "4WD ECU" and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRΒ " procedure.
- Check 4WD ECU connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRΒ " procedure.
