Signal Circuit Inspection

- Open or Short Check
- IG "OFF".
- Disconnect the ESC (ESP) switch and HECU connector.
- IG "ON".
- Measure voltage between ESC (ESP) switch signal terminal of the HECU harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Approx. 0V
- Is the measured value within specifications?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " Procedure.
NO
- Repair short to power in ESC (ESP) switch signal circuit between ESC (ESP) switch and HECU.
