GDS Data Analysis

2013 Hyundai Santa Fe XL PremiumSECTION GDS Data Analysis
  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. IG "ON".
  3. Press the ESC (ESP) SWITCH.
  4. Monitor the "ESC (ESP) Off Switch" parameter on the "Current Data"Β  menu of the GDS.

  5. Whenever the switch is pushed up/down, is the ESC (ESP) off switch's scantool data changed ON/OFF?

    YESΒ 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection in ESC (ESP) switch line or was repaired and HECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRΒ " procedure.
