Component Inspection

2013 Hyundai Equus UltimateSECTION Component Inspection
  1. Ignition "OFF" & Engine "OFF".
  2. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
  3. Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode.
  4. Using a GDS, Clear DTC.
  5. Using a GDS, Check DTC present.
  6. Are any DTCs present?

    YESΒ 

    This fault may be caused by an invalid CAN messages from TCM.

    Check if there is a problem in the TCM system side.

    After repairing the fault of the TCM system side, Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRΒ " procedure.

    NOΒ 

    This fault may be intermittently caused by poor connection in the TCM or HECU connector or was repaired and HECU memory was not cleared. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRΒ " procedure.
