DDM Operation
- Operating Condition
DDM controls the operating condition (Enable or Disable) of the Outside Mirror Folding as follows. Outside Mirror Folding can be controlled by user under operating condition that is in ENABLE, TIMER, and TIMER EXTEND.
- The Outside Mirror Folding will be enabled when IGN Switch DDM is ACC, IGN or ST.
- After IGN Switch DDM released from (ACC, IGN or ST), the Outside Mirror Folding will be enabled until 30s normally, which called "TIMER".
- In the "TIMER" and timer elapsed 15s±500ms, if user press Outside Mirror Fold Switch ON, "30s Enable Timer" is extended 15s±500ms this is called "TIMER EXTEND" function.D33
- Fold/Unfold Operation
When operating condition is in ENABLE, TIMER, and TIMER EXTEND mentioned above, Fold/Unfold is controlled by user operation of Outside Mirror Fold Switch as follows.
Input Output User Operation Driver Outside Mirror Fold Driver Outside Mirror Unfold Assist Outside Mirror Fold/Unfold Outside Mirror Fold Switch is ON at Initial Time (Battery Reset) ON for 15s±500ms to fold OS Mirror. OFF Transmits CAN message with FOLD to ADM for 150ms. Outside Mirror Fold Switch is ON if previous operating was unfolding ON for 15s±500ms to fold OS Mirror OFF Transmits CAN message with FOLD to ADM for 150ms. Outside Mirror Fold Switch is ON if previous operating was folding OFF ON for 15s±500ms to unfold OS Mirror Transmits CAN message with UNFOLD to ADM for 150ms
