Repair procedures: Removal

2011 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS, 3.5 G, AWDSECTION Removal

  1. Set room side lever and T/M side lever to "N" position.
  2. Remove the battery and the battery tray. (Refer to "Charging System ".)
  3. Remove the air cleaner assembly. (Refer to "Intake Manifold ".)
  4. Remove the shift cable mounting nut (B).

    Tightening torque:Β 

    7.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)

  5. Disconnect the inhibitor switch connector (A).

  6. Remove the manual control lever (A) and the washer (B) after removing a nut (C).
