- Check for improper installation of EMS/TCU/ESP.
- Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
- Perform variant coding. (Fig 1).
- Disconnect scantool.
- Ignition "OFF" and then ignition "ON". Go to COMPONENT INSPECTION .
