Component Inspection

2011 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS, 3.5 G, AWDSECTION Component Inspection
  1. Ignition "OFF" & Engine "OFF".
  2. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
  3. Connect scantool and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode.
  4. Using a scantool, Clear DTC.
  5. Using a scantool, Check DTC present.
  6. Are any DTCs present?

    YESΒ 

    • This DTC may be caused by an incorrect calibration of the steering angle sensor. Perform the calibration of the sensor by scantool again.

      This DTC may be caused by an improper installation of the steering angle sensor. Check it for the installation.

      If there is no problem about the above items, Substitute with a known-good Steering Angle Sensor and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace Steering Angle Sensor and then go to VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRΒ .

      * In a case of replacing the Steering Angle Sensor, operate "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" by scantool.
