- IG "OFF" and connect scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).
- IG "ON" and clear DTC.
- Start Engine.
- Perform the latching order by pushing the EPB button or using scantool.
- Again using scantool, Check DTC present.
- Is the same DTC shown, agian?
YESΒ
- Substitute with a known-good EPB ASS'Y and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace EPB ASS'Y and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRΒ " procedure.
NOΒ
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection or was repaired and EPB ECU memory was not cleared.
- Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRΒ " procedure.
