Signal Circuit Inspection

- Check for open in signal circuit.
- Ignition "OFF".
- Disconnect FLS and ECM connector.
- Measure resistance between terminals 2 of the FLS harness connector and 5 of the ECM harness connector.
Specification: Approx. 0Ω
- Is resistance within the specification?
YES
NO
- Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Check for short to ground in signal circuit
- Measure resistance between terminal 2 of the FLS harness connector and chassis ground

- Is resistance within the specification?
YES
NO
- Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Measure resistance between terminal 2 of the FLS harness connector and chassis ground
