Cooling System: Thermostat: Installation

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS, 2.7 D, AWDSECTION Installation
  1. Check that the flange of the thermostat is correctly placed in the socket of the thermostat housing.

  2. Install the inlet fitting.

    Tightening torqueΒ 

    Engine coolant inlet fitting bolt:

    17 ~ 20 Nm (170 ~ 200 kg.cm, 12 ~ 14 lb.ft)

  3. Refill the coolant.
