- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Remove the rear transverse trim, then remove the trunk lid switch from the trunk lid striker.
- Disconnect the 1P connector from the rear harness.
- Check for continuity between the terminal and body while pushing the rod.CHECKING TRUNK LID SWITCH CONTINUITY
