- Remove the following items:
- Hood release handle (see HOOD RELEASE HANDLE REPLACEMENT ).
- Radiator guard (see HOOD INSULATOR REPLACEMENT )
- Hood latch (see HOOD INSULATOR REPLACEMENT )
- Wheel guard (see WHEEL GUARD REPLACEMENT )
- Using a clip remover, detach the clips from the body, then remove the hood latch cable (A) from the vehicle.NOTE: Take care not to bend the cable.
