Fuel Pressure Release: Accent

2003 Hyundai XG350 LSECTION Accent

Locate and remove fuel pump access panel under rear seat. Disconnect fuel pump harness connector. Start engine and allow it to idle. After engine stalls, turn ignition off. Disconnect negative battery cable and reconnect fuel pump harness connector. When repairs are completed and fuel lines are properly secured, reconnect negative battery cable. Locate fuel pump check connector in engine compartment fuse/relay box. See Fig 1. Apply battery voltage at check connector to activate fuel pump. Check for leaks, repair as necessary.
