Replace After Deployment Inspect & If Damaged Replace Component (Even If Air Bag Did Not Deploy) Comments
Deployed air bag modules; Seat belts in use at time of collision (includes buckle); Deployed seat belt pretensioners (if equipped); SRSCM(1); Clockspring(2); Side impact sensor(3); SRS wiring harness(4); Clockspring; Passenger presence detection system (if equipped); Seat belts & mounting points; SRS wiring harness; SRSCM; Steering column; Steering wheel; Side impact sensors (if equipped); If any components are damaged, they must be replaced.; DO NOT attempt SRS wiring repairs. If SRS wiring or harness connectors are faulty, replace faulty wiring harness.;
(1) SRSCM must be replaced following one air bag deployment or 5 seat belt pretensioner only deployments. Machine screws securing SRSCM to vehicle must also be replaced.
(2) Following front air bag module deployment.
(3) On deployed side.
(4) Replace SRS wiring harness associated with deployed components.
