- Remove engine cover. Remove air inlet hose from throttle body. Remove PCV valve and brake booster vacuum hose. See Fig 1. Remove and label any remaining vacuum hoses. Disconnect Throttle Position (TP) sensor and ISC actuator harness connectors.
- Release pressure from fuel pipe and disconnect high pressure hose. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASEΒ in FUEL SYSTEM.
- Disconnect fuel injector harness connectors. Remove delivery pipe with fuel injectors and pressure regulator attached. Take care not to drop injectors.
- Remove intake manifold assembly and gasket. Check all components for damage or excessive wear. Replace as necessary. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ . Check for fluid and vacuum leaks.
