Crank Shaft: Disassembly

- Remove the following:
- Timing belt. Refer to TIMING BELT .
- Front case.
- Flywheel. Refer to FLY WHEEL .
- Cylinder head assembly. Refer to CYLINDER HEAD .
- Oil pan.
- Remove the rear plate and the rear oil seal.
- Remove the connecting rod caps.
- Remove the main bearing caps and remove the crankshaft.
- Remove the crankshaft position sensor wheel.CAUTION: Mark the main bearing caps to permit reassembly in the original position and direction.
