Test Procedure

2003 Hyundai Accent GL, 2D Hatchback, StandardSECTION Test Procedure
  1. Turn ignition on, with engine off. Ensure that the charge indicator light is illuminated.
  2. NOTE: If the leads of the Digital Volt-Ohmmeter (DVOM) are not connected properly, there will be no reading on the ohmmeter. Be sure to connect the leads correctly.
  3. Disconnect pre-excitation resistor 4-pin connector, located in engine compartment fuse box. Connect the positive lead of the DVOM to terminal No. 4 and the negative lead to terminal No. 1 of the pre-excitation resistor. See Fig 1 .
