- Visually check the parts of the oil pump case for cracks and damage.
- Assemble the rotor on the oil pump and then check the clearance with a thickness gauge.
Oil pump side clearance
Standard value
Body clearance:0.100-0.181mm (0.0039-0.0071 in.)
Side clearance:0.040-0.095mm (0.0016-0.0037 in.)
Oil pump Tip clearance:
0.06 - 0.18 mm (0.0024 - 0.0071 in.)
