2002 Hyundai XG 350 V6-3.5LSECTION Description and Operation
Circuit Description
The ETACM receives several switch signals(for instance, front & rear door switch signal, trunk room lamp switch signal) and controls the operation of the lamps. Battery voltage is applied at all times to the overhead console lamp, vanity lamp, foot lamp, door lamps and trunk room lamp. Battery voltage is applied at all times from fuse 20 to the door ajar indicators. When the appropriate lamp switch (see schematic) is closed, a ground path is provided to the respective lamps through the ETACM and causing the lamps to go on.
The map lamps are not controlled by a door switch. They are turned on and off manually. The room lamps can be controlled by the door switches or turned on manually, depending on the position of the room lamps switch. The room lamps can also be turned off so it will not come on with the door open.
