Bench Testing: Stator

2002 Hyundai Accent GL, AutomaticSECTION Stator
  1. Check continuity between stator coil leads. See Fig 1 . If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace stator assembly.
  2. Check continuity between each stator coil lead and stator core. See Fig 2 . There should be no continuity between any stator coil lead and stator core. If continuity exists, replace stator assembly.
